Mustang Medicine’s

Brotherhood

The Men's Connection Code, a transformative space for men seeking to heal, grow, and connect on a deeper level with themselves and others. This cohort is hosted by Hugh Vail and Michael Hall, two men who continue to walk a sovereign path of self-discovery and healing, united by a shared commitment to authenticity, vulnerability, accountability, and reciprocity (AVAR). Growing brotherhood of men from all walks of life...entrepreneurs, artists, veterans (SEALs, Green Berets, Marine Raiders), fathers, and spiritual seekers.

We created this program not just as a platform for teaching, but as a reflection of our personal journeys. Both of us have faced challenges in our relationships with others, and most importantly, with ourselves. The principles of AVAR have been instrumental in repairing those ruptures, not only in our external connections but in our relationship with our own hearts, minds, and souls.

📜 Manifesto of Purpose & Principles

I. Statement of Purpose

The Mustang Medicine Men’s Group is a trauma-informed brotherhood dedicated to personal transformation, emotional maturity, and embodied leadership.

This is not a support group in the conventional sense - it is a rite of passage. A modern hunt for wisdom, strength, and emotional integrity. We gather not to perform, impress, or fix - but to remember, reclaim, and rebuild.

II. Guiding Philosophy

Our work is grounded in the principles of Compassionate Inquiry (Dr. Gabor Maté) and a commitment to non-pathologizing, curiosity-driven healing.

We recognize that many men carry unspoken wounds, unresolved grief, and patterns of disconnection inherited from family and culture.

We aim to interrupt those patterns, through brotherhood, embodiment, and honest reflection.

We walk the path of integration, restoring connection with self, others, and the greater whole. In doing so, we embody Mustang Medicine ,freedom, sensitivity, power, and trust cultivated through presence.

III. The AVAR Code

We are men of AVAR ,living by:

  • Authenticity – Speaking truths without pretense or posturing

  • Vulnerability – Allowing ourselves to be seen in imperfection and humanity

  • Accountability – Taking responsibility for our choices and their impact

  • Reciprocity – Give and receive in balance, honoring brotherhood

IV. Core Commitments & Agreements

  • We Share Wisdom Through Stories – Communicating through lived experience and “I statements”

  • We Protect Vulnerability – Holding confidentiality as sacred

  • We Honor Authentic Departure – Respecting when a man chooses a different path

  • We Live by the Mirror – Viewing every challenge or rupture as reflection and growth opportunity

  • We Lead by Returning – Like the buffalo hunt, we return carrying wisdom and presence for families, relationships, and communities

V. Rationale & Timeliness

Modern men are often unequipped for the emotional, relational, and spiritual challenges of life.

This group responds to a deep cultural need: to reintroduce men to the art of emotional presence and soul-based leadership.

Healing is not solo work. It is relational, sacred, and urgent.

VI. Call to Participation

If you are seeking:

  • A deeper connection to your true self

  • A supportive circle of men

  • Practical tools for navigating emotions and triggers

  • A culture of truth, respect, and transformation

  • A way to lead with presence in family, relationships, and life

👉 We extend this invitation.

Membership is not based on status or perfection.
It is based on willingness to show up honestly and engage.

You do not need to be healed to begin.
You only need to be ready.

VII. Closing Statement

This Manifesto is a living document an evolving expression of our collective intention.

We are not here to be fixed.
Each man is already whole.

Our work is to restore awareness of that wholeness through truth-telling, emotional processing, and sacred remembering.

We believe truth is compassionate, and honesty is not about laying everything out, but about considering the consequences of truth for others.

We do this together.
We do this with reverence.
We do this with fire in our bones and the wisdom of the hunt in our hearts.

We are the Mustang Medicine Men.
We walk as brothers.
We lead by example.
We hunt for what is real and we bring it home.
