ReWilding on a Horse

May 28-31st, 2026

ReWilding on a Horse is a 4-day immersive retreat where horsemanship becomes a mirror for healing. Each participant is paired with their own horse, one you’ll learn to care for, connect with, and ride each day through the wild beauty of Pine Valley.

Guided by skilled horsemen and guide, you’ll uncover how your body holds emotion, how triggers arise, and how presence and regulation can transform both. Through daily lessons and connections, you’ll learn to understand and heal the patterns that once kept you in survival.

Each day we move between movement and stillness—riding into the mountains, sitting in tipi circles, cold plunging, and sharing reflection by the fire. It’s not just a retreat; it’s a remembering of who you are beneath the noise, and the power that comes when you lead yourself the way a true horseman leads with calm, clarity, and heart.

What you can experience

✺ Emotional Awareness Lessons

Learn how to read your body the way a soldier reads terrain. You’ll understand the early signs of overwhelm, regulate your system under pressure, and stay composed when things get heated — at home, at work, and in any moment where people look to you for leadership.

✺ Meet Your Horse

From the moment you arrive, you’ll be paired with a horse — learning to feed, brush, and care for them. You’ll build connection through presence and attention, discovering how your energy and emotions shape the relationship.

✺ Guided Mountain Rides

Ride into the backcountry of Pine Valley. These aren’t casual trail rides — they’re hours of steady movement where your nervous system resets and your mind quiets. You’ll learn to lead your horse with clarity, calmness, and command. The mountain strips away everything that doesn’t matter.

✺ LEARNING THE LANGUAGE OF HEALING

This is where you start connecting the dots between your behavior and your nervous system. You’ll see why you react the way you do, why certain patterns keep repeating, and how to shift them through grounded leadership instead of force. The horses make the feedback immediate and undeniable.

✺ Sweat Lodge & Cold Plunge

Step into heat, breath, darkness, and intensity — followed by the shock of cold water. These rituals push you physically and mentally, teaching you how to stay steady under discomfort and return to your body fast. This resets your system in a way most men haven’t felt in years.

✺ Rest, Stillness & Simplicity

Between rides and lessons, you’ll have down time with no distractions — no deadlines, no noise, no expectations. This is where clarity shows up. Most men don’t realize how much leadership they lose simply because their mind is never quiet. Out here, stillness becomes strength.
